dear all,
it’s the end of the year and we want to
take the opportunity to thank all of you. thank
you for your support, for your dedication, for
your love. as you might imagine it hasn’t
been the easiest year for us due to the collapse
of EFA. however we managed to survive, we managed
to bond with our new excellent distribution partner
rough trade, we managed to release a handful of
lovely records and to organise unforgettable concerts.
and 2005 will be our year. we will celebrate our
10th label-birthday and we’re currently preparing
lot’s of great birthday surprises. so watch
out for apricot flavoured P!O!P! in the new year.
but now take a moment to get in the mood for christmas
- and here’s your chance. this weekend will
be the last club d’apricot event in 2004:
on sunday 19th december 2004 it’s time to
have the "club d’apricot farewell evening"
at the goto (weserstrasse, frankfurt, germany).
the goto will close its doors at the end of the
year and it will be our last extravaganza in this
cosy club. so be prepared for a gorgeous night
with one of our heroes: marcel vega from bazooka
cain will come to play his wonderful songs. please
drop by and wear your striped scarfs. we love
ska-parties but scarf-parties are going to be
the next big thing. remember
who told you first! by the way: thanks to everyone
who came to our c86-party at gestuet renz last
week. c86 parties without songs from 1986 are
going to be the other big thing next year... in
